Carlos and Marguerite Mason Transplant Center
Today, Augusta University Medical Center held the official ribbon cutting for the Carlos and Marguerite Mason Solid Organ Transplant Center. This 14,000 SF facility, located on the third floor of Professional Building 1, encompasses both clinical and office space. Dr. Carlos Zayas, Medical Director of the Transplant Program, says that the benefit of this new space is that, “it merges into one place the many services that our transplant patients require instead of having them navigate different appointments in multiples buildings across the health sciences campus”. 2KM Architects began work on the project in the Spring of 2015.
The following lists the design team that brought this project to life:
Architect: 2KM Architects, Inc.
Construction Manager: JH Cleveland Construction
Mechanical Engineer: Pruett, Ford & Associates
Electrical Engineer: Electrical Design Consultants
