Moore Ave. Clinic

Augusta University Medical Center hired 2KM to design this new Infectious Disease Clinic in 2016 so that it could fulfill the growing demand of the community. This building includes rooms for examination, education, infusion, and immunization. The floor plan is divided into Staff, Patient, and Public Space in order to increase the efficiency for the Users. The rectilinear floor plan is bisected with 45° corridors to minimize travel distances and to give the geometry of the building a more dynamic shape. The materials (brick, stucco, & glass storefront) and colors of the building were selected to integrate the building into the greater AU Campus located a block away.
