Jaguar Student Activities Center

2KM collaborated with Lord Aeck Sargent to complete this Student Activities Center located in the heart of Augusta State University’s Summerville Campus. The site work effort to create this building involved the closure of roads, new sidewalks, an outdoor plaza, and a loading dock for truck access. The exterior facade fits the campus context with brick and cast stone veneer and large expanses of glass curtainwall. One of the prominent architectural features of the interior is a 3-story clerestory connector that spans the length of the building to bring in natural light. Programmatic spaces in the building include a Fitness Center, Student Government Offices, Meeting Rooms, Kitchen, Dining Areas, and Banquet Room.
